For the end of the first quarter of 2018, we would like to present you a double freeze-frame dedicated to Bouy & the challenges of recruitment throughout the group.

BOUY joined WeAre Group in June 2017; 9 months later we can note the successful integration and highlight the efforts undertaken by the teams.
The site of Saint Hilaire de Voust is at the heart of our milling center; it allows us to position ourselves as a leading player in on this market. Our desire is to preserve the service provided to BOUY’s historical customers while progressively integrating complementary markets. In view of this, we have already invested more than 10 million euros & started the construction of a new building. In early 2018 a new organization was set up and a new director Guillaume Le Manach joined us.

BOUY, like other sites, faces the challenge of growth and recruitment. To meet this challenge, its teams have put in place an innovative and effective recruitment and training action, in collaboration with Pôle emploi and various training centers.
This approach has been extended to other plants  of the group; it illustrates all the efforts we have made to attract, recruit and train new employees: collaboration with the institutions (state, regions, pôle emploi), partnerships with more than 15 schools, TIAS project, WEARE recruitment site , presence on social networks.
These actions produce concrete results: the number of CVs received has multiplied by 10 in one year, the recruitment campaigns conducted on our sites have attracted hundreds of people!

We have become a visible and attractive group, our “employer brand” is gradually being built, supported by our development project and by our reputation as a reliable and innovative company.
Its our duty to contribute to sustain this image.

« It’s really exciting to drive a project of this magnitude. It’s the work of a whole team that starts from sketches and plans and today translates into a building that comes out of the ground. By September 2018, two extensions of 1200 and 4000m² will be undertaken and will welcome our new machines. Over the past 12 years at Bouy, I have been able to concretize a number of projects but this one has a particular importance, it allows each of us to project ourselves in the development of the company and the Group »

Our workshops move …
« We are ready ! Our organization is progressing changing towards working stations dedicated to product lines, it will allow us to increase our performances and to favor the transfer of competences and the autonomy of the teams. The OKK line (6th totally robotized cell of the site) intended for the machining of hard metal AIRBUS parts is operational and the first parts come out of production. In 2018, 15 new machines (mainly machining centers) will be installed, they will strengthen our ability to meet the demands of our customers »

« It’s a big transformation that has been going on at BOUY for a few months now. To meet all these challenges, we must firstly rely on the expertise of our alumni and secondly be able to recruit and train future motivated employees. Our main activities (turning, milling, etc.) are high-tension jobs, we must be bold and innovative in our recruitment systems. The human values of our company, which we share today with WeAre Group, allow us to imagine solutions that go beyond our recruitment needs and bring us closer to women and men in our employment area.  »
Francis TROCQUEME, operational HR

In partnership with the Commune, Pôle Emploi, ADEFIM and training organizations (AFPA, AFPI, GRETA), we launched in October 2017 a project aimed at training job seekers in the machining trades. After a public meeting that welcomed more than 130 participants, we organized factory tours and set up 3 training sessions with our partners. After a training course of 2 months and a period of internship in the company of 2 weeks, it is 25 people who have joined the company to complete their training and come reinforce our teams. We have identified and trained internal tutors so that each trainee has a referent. Our tutors are all volunteers, experienced and solicitous to transmit their knowledge in the best conditions. We salute the courage and investment of our future employees who will be supported by their mentor to share the adventure and challenges of our company. The recruitment needs are numerous on all the companies of the Group. Thus,  the same plan  has been launched at CHATAL Herbignac and FARELLA Montauban.

« Since my arrival 15 days ago, I had I’ve had the opportunity to discover the company through an integration course closer to the production teams and support services. This period allowed me to meet employees who are very welcoming, passionate and eager to share their know-how.
Together we will become the milling center of excellence for WeAre group and improve our performance.
Meeting these challenges and proposing new solutions to our customers will involve adapting our organization (new technologies, management methods, working methods) while relying on a strong technical culture.
The transformation of BOUY is underway, I’ve joined my energy to what’s already been done by all the employees and there is no doubt that we will succeed  »
